Ed Sheeran: 'The first time I heard myself on the radio I was introduced as Ben Sherman'

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has confessed that the first time he ever heard himself on the radio the presenter mispronounced his name awkwardly.

In a new interview with MTV, the 'Sing' superstar admitted that he was introduced as 'Ben Sherman' instead of Ed Sheeran: "The first time I ever heard myself on the radio I was in my bedroom and they called me Ben Sherman."

He then turned his attention to women and spoke about his first kiss, how a girl can get his attention, and Sheeran even revealed the most romantic gesture he has made to date:

"When I was 11 I had my first kiss... it was wet. A girl can get my attention by having a good sense of humour and good eyes [...] The craziest thing I've done for a girl to show her I love her is fly halfway across the world for an afternoon while we were dating."
