Ed Sheeran's 'Don't' goes No.1 in 24 countries

Ed Sheeran has revealed that his new song 'Don't' has gone No.1 in at least 24 countries.

The singer-songwriter unleashed the track to iTunes today (June 13) worldwide ahead of the release of his new album 'x' on June 23.

The Brit later took to Twitter to say that the tune is already No.1 in a myriad of countries across the globe.

He said: "Don't is currently #1 in 17 countries and top 10 in 50 markets. Not a bad way to start a friday :) flanks x."

The 'A Team' maestro later added: "Don't is #1 in 24 countries now. So so epic."

Some of the countries in which the song is currently No.1 on iTunes are the US, Denmark and Ireland.

Sheeran meanwhile previously revealed that he will be unveiling a new song on iTunes every day next week.
