British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran recently released a new song called 'Afire Love' and has now confirmed to his followers that it's already No.1 in the USA on iTunes and has made it into the Top 10 in 42 other countries. 

Writing on his official Twitter page this afternoon, the hitmaker explained that people have been incredibly supportive of the track, which is amazing to see: "New song 'Afire Love' is #1 in the states and top 10 in 42 countries. Happy days :)."

Just before the weekend, Sheeran unveiled another track called 'Don't' and it went to No.1 in a total of 24 countries within hours of being on sale and for download. He will release his highly anticipated new album, 'x', on June 23.
