Ed Sheeran: 'We're attracted to people with talent'

'Lego House' sensation Ed Sheeran has revealed that he doesn't see himself as a sex symbol, but definitely understands the appeal musicians have.

Speaking to Nightline recently, the superstar admitted that people only find musicians attractive because they have creative talent: "I've never seen myself as a sex symbol, and I think if I didn't play music no one else would [see me that way] either."

"We're attracted to people who are good at things. So being in that People magazine thing is very flattering, because it means people think I'm good at my craft. But I would never say that I'm a sex symbol."

He has been shooting his new music video this week, which is for 'Thinking Out Loud', and teased fans by suggesting it will be the best one he has ever done: "It’s the best video I’ve ever done and probably ever will do. It’s incredible, and I don’t say that lightly. It’s legit.”

“We shot it on 16mm film, which we couldn’t do a whole lot of, it’s all one shot at the moment. I think we might do cutaways and stuff, and I learned to do something very different. I want the video to come out and everybody to be like, ‘What the hell is he doing?’ Just something that is going to shock you.”
