Ed Sheeran: 'I listen to Britney Spears while I'm cooking'

'Lego House' hitmaker Ed Sheeran has revealed that when he's in the kitchen making himself dinner he really likes to listen to Britney Spears' music.

Speaking at the #AmazonFrontRow event in London on Tuesday (September 30), the red-haired superstar admitted that Spears' songs are perfect for cooking to and there's also another group that he listens to whilst rustling up yummy dishes: "I'm a big Britney fan! I've actually got her greatest hits, I cook to it. I cook to Britney's greatest hits and N-Dubz's greatest hits - what does that say about me? Seriously, I'm not joking."

In the same interview, Sheeran went onto add that he would like to write a song for Spears:

"Yeah. I mean she's had consistent hits for a while, but I wouldn't write 'Work B*tch'. I'd go and do something a bit more like 'Everytime'. I'm a Britney fan! I've actually got the 'Greatest Hits' - I cook to it."

Spears, meanwhile, took to her official Twitter page earlier today and announced that it's the sixteenth anniversary of her iconic single 'Baby One More Time': "Happy sweet 16 to 'Baby One More Time'! Where did the time go!? Thx to my fans for supporting me since my 1st single #Happy16thBirthdayBOMT."
