Ed Sheeran: 'I've tried to set Taylor Swift up on dates with friends of mine'

'Lego House' superstar Ed Sheeran has admitted that there have been times where he's tried to set Taylor Swift up with friends of his.

During an interview at the Amazon Front Row event yesterday, the hitmaker explained that he understands what being single is like so tried to pair the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' beauty up with a couple of his friends on the off chance that they would get along:

“I have tried to set Taylor up with a few of my friends. I have a lot of good looking friends.”

He went onto add that they wrote a few songs together after the success of their duet 'Everything Has Changed', but he's not sure if they'll ever see the light of day:

“I've recorded some more songs with Taylor Swift, but it's just a case of finding out where to put them as I don't really put collaborations on my albums. She did her last record, '1989', really quickly, in about a month, I think, so there was no time to put any on there."
