British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has thanked followers for being so excited about the release of his new music video for 'Thinking Out Loud', which has only been out for a day and already has a hit count of over 2.7 million views. 

He took to his official Twitter page earlier today (October 8) and confirmed that behind-the-scenes footage will be released after the weekend on Monday, October 13. Sheeran wrote:

"This has been my biggest video launch to date, so chuffed with the reaction. behind the scenes video coming Monday."

Back in September, the flame-haired hitmaker told MTV News that he spent around 5 hours per day training for the video: “We shot it on 16mm film, which we couldn’t do a whole lot of, it’s all one shot at the moment. I think we might do cutaways and stuff, and I learned to do something very different. I want the video to come out and everybody to be like, ‘What the hell is he doing?’ Just something that is going to shock you.”
