Ed Sheeran admits two-year homeless stintEd Sheeran has revealed that he was homeless for over two years. The singer-songwriter may be one of Britain's biggest names in music, but in an extract of his new book A Visual Journey published this weekend the singer revealed things weren't always so easy. The 'x' star said that he was without a home for more than two years before he was famous, with Sheeran at one point sleeping rough outside London's royal home Buckingham Palace. He wrote: "There was an arch outside Buckingham Palace that has a heating duct and I spent a couple of nights there...I didn't have anywhere to live for much of 2008 and the whole of 2009 and 2010, but somehow I made it work. I knew where I could get a bed at a certain time of night and I knew who I could call at any time to get a floor to sleep on. Being sociable helped. Drinking helped. Sheeran released his debut album '+' in 2011. A Visual Journey is out now in the UK. Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook. Watch Ed Sheeran in action below:
