Ed Sheeran gets plaque for Platinum certification of 'x' in Germany

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has shared a picture of 'the best plaque' ever, which he was given in celebration for the new Platinum certification of his latest album, 'x'.

Writing on his official Instagram page beside the photograph of his plaque (shown left), Sheeran explained that he is very pleased with it: "This is the best plaque I've ever received. And also my first German platinum record. Well chuffed, it lights up and plays music."

The 'Thinking Out Loud' sensation also recently announced that he will be launching his very own record label through Warner. Speaking about the impressive project, Sheeran said:

"The door has now been opened. I've set up the label and I'm going to start signing people. It'll be an imprint that goes through Warner. But I'll get the rights back in about ten years. I've got my first signing in mind. I'm looking at people like me, who came through the singer-songwriter scene."
