Ed Sheeran reveals the GRAMMY nomination he's most proud of

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has opened up about his nominations for next year's GRAMMY Awards and revealed that there's one nod he received that he's particularly proud of.

Speaking to On Air with Ryan Seacrest earlier this morning (December 8), the superstar explained that seeing his track 'I See Fire', which he wrote for the Hobbit movie, nominated in the Music for Visual Media category was mind-blowing:

"I did a song for the Hobbit film and when I did it, it missed out on the Oscars nomination and everyone just kind of forget about. And I was really proud of it as a song and no one has really talked about it for a year and a half. Now suddenly it’s got a GRAMMY nomination. So, I’m just really happy that it’s finally getting some [attention].”

The 2015 GRAMMYs will take place on February 8 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California, and Sheeran is also up for Best Pop Vocal Album for his latest record, 'x'
