Ed Sheeran on setting up Taylor Swift: 'She's in a relationship with her music'

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has opened up about his friendship with 'Blank Space' beauty Taylor Swift and revealed that trying to set her up with single guys he knew was always unsuccessful.

During a brief interview with heat magazine backstage at tonight's (December 11) BBC Music Awards, the hitmaker explained that he definitely tried to pair her off with suitable friends, but she is far too interested in her music career right now to think about dating:

"That happened a bit in the past. She did the same for me, friends do that – they find friends you’ll get on with. I’ve been in a relationship for a while now and she’s, Taylor’s in a relationship with her music!”

Swift, meanwhile, recently sat down with America's Barbara Walters and admitted that she hasn't got time for romance at the moment and doesn't want to sacrifice her schedule to make room for it:

"I don't see a scenario right now, the way my life is, in which it could work. So I don't think about it because I don't like to think about things that I can't solve. I think all the time about big concepts in my life. I don't have answers for everything and that doesn't scare me."
