Ed Sheeran doesn't think Taylor Swift would ever play Glastonbury

Ed Sheeran believes Taylor Swift isn't one for playing events like the Glastonbury Festival.

The US star and good friend of the 'x' musician is due to headline London's Hyde Park in June.

Some have also linked Swift with a slot at the 2015 Glastonbury Festival, but Sheeran told Digital Spy that he thinks it is highly unlikely.

The 'A Team' man said: "I'd bet you a large amount of money she doesn't - a large amount of money. Taylor doesn't like festivals.

"Yeah, so for any bookies reading.. I think Taylor likes doing her own show because she's in control and it's how she wants it to be. With Glastonbury or any festival, you're at the mercy of the people who run the festival. The stage is how they want it to be and the lights are restricted.

"At [Hyde Park show] British Summertime she can have exactly the same staging as her tour and the same everything. She can have her own area and I think it's more just a control thing. She wants it all to be perfect."
