Ed Sheeran to bring back VH1's 'Storytellers' with intimate concert in Ireland

VH1's 'Storytellers' is due to make its comeback later this month after a three year hiatus and the artist that will bring it back to life is none other than British singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeran

A new addition to the show's structure is the fact that featured musicians will choose and perform at a venue that means something personal to them, and the 'Lego House' sensation will be playing live at Whelan's in Dublin, Ireland on January 24.

Speaking about his choice of venue, the hitmaker explained: "It's amazing to come back to perform at a place that means so much to me personally. I was only about 11 or 12 years old when I saw Damien [Rice] play at Whelan’s, and that night literally changed my life. The time he spent talking with me after the show made all the difference. It inspired me in a way that I only hope to do for someone else."

After his set, VH1.com will stream an exclusive 30-minute after-show segment. More artists will be announced for 'Storytellers' in the coming weeks.
