Ed Sheeran overwhelmed after winning two BRIT Awards

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran had an incredibly successful time at last night's (February 25) BRIT Awards ceremony at London's O2 Arena as he took home two prizes.

He won the trophies, which were designed by artist Tracey Emin, for the British Male and Best British Album categories and took to Twitter to tell his followers how amazing he feels: "Thank you so much for the two BRITs. Album of the year, speechless, so chuffed..."

He also celebrated the talent of singer George Ezra, who lost out on the British Male title, adding: "All I say is George Ezra has had a phenomenal year, regardless of a statue he has had an amazing year and is a career artist. Congratulations to everyone else too, @samsmithworld you champ @taylorswift13 congrats on your 1st!"
