Ed Sheeran: 'I haven't been healthy to my body and my body's not liking it'

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has revealed that he changed up his diet by introducing healthy green juices into his routine because he's not a huge fan of tucking into meals made up from vegetables.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the superstar admitted that he finds it much easier to 'down' a smoothie containing the goodness and nutrients his body needs than to sit down and eat them whole:

"I'm not losing it because I'm eating well and going to the gym, I've started green juices because I've realised that I go to restaurants and get a steak and chips and broccoli and I'll eat the steak and chips and leave the broccoli."

"So I said to the guy that does the food on our tour, 'Can you just blend everything that I need?' And then I just down it. I'm now a small. I went from a large to a medium to a small. It's my lifestyle. I haven't really been healthy to my body and my body's not liking it."

Sheeran, meanwhile, recently announced details of his 'biggest ever' U.S. headlining concert that will take place on September 25 at the huge Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The venue has a capacity of just over 68,000.
