Ed Sheeran making a documentary from Wembley Stadium gig footage

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will perform a trio of concerts at London's iconic Wembley Stadium on July 10, 11 and 12, and he has revealed that footage from the events will be made into a documentary film.

Speaking to Britain's The Sun newspaper, the 'Thinking Out Loud' sensation explained that the footage shot at the 90,000 capacity venue will 'go out' in cinemas throughout the UK and mainland Europe:

"We are doing something for the Wembley Stadium gigs. It will be a documentary. It's going to go out in cinemas in the U.K. and Europe. But it's just going to be a one-off thing."

The hitmaker took to his official Twitter page last night and retweeted an incredible statistic shared by BPI Music, which reads: "Congrats @edsheeran 'Thinking Out Loud' is the first single ever to spend a full year in the Official Chart Top 40!"
