Ed Sheeran has signed his second act to Gingerbread Man Records

Ed Sheeran has announced the latest music act that he has signed to his record label.

The singer-songwriter launched Gingerbread Man Records earlier this year.

The project, a subsidiary of Warner Music, bagged chart-topper Jamie Lawson as its first signing.

Sheeran has now confirmed the identity of its next act - Northern Irish singer-songwriter Foy Vance.

He said on Twitter today (November 30): "I've signed my second act to my label.

"One of my all time favourite artists and inspirations, get a free track at - http://www.foyvance.com."

Vance has previously supported Sheeran on tour.

Announcing his imprint earlier this year, the 'Lego House' man said:

"I'm extremely excited to be starting-up my own label.

"It’s something I’ve been planning for some time. I’ve always loved endorsing acts from the very beginning and I get to work with artists I truly believe in."
