Ed Sheeran vows to ditch the Grammys if he doesn't win this year

Ed Sheeran reckons he will give future Grammy ceremonies a miss if he doesn't win gold this year.

The singer-songwriter has yet to pick up an award at the music industry extravaganza.

However, he his nominated three times this year, with his track 'Thinking Out Loud' up for the Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance prizes.

Speaking to The Sun, Sheeran says he changed his mind and decided to attend the ceremony, which is taking place on February 15 in Los Angeles.

However, the Brit quipped that if he doesn't win, he will never attend another Grammys again as he always ends up losing.

Sheeran said: "I wasn't going to attend even after getting nominated, because I've been the last three years and always lost. I've known I'm not going to win so I get smashed before.

"But then it's going to be sod's law that this would be the year I get it if I didn't go. So I'm going to go and if I don't get it, I won't go again."

The 'x' star added that he plans to ditch the after-parties though, because he always is always too "f*cked" to meet his heroes.
