Ed Sheeran says new album "is my best work to date"

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has opened up about his forthcoming new album, entitled '÷' and pronounced Divide, and revealed that it's his "best work" so far.

He told The Sun newspaper that he can't wait for release day, which is due to fall on March 3, because it's a body of work that he is particularly proud of:

"First off, what a week! The reaction to my new singles has been absolutely mind-blowing and I can't thank you enough. My new album '÷' holds a very special place in my heart and I really believe this is my best work to date. I've been eager to get back and I couldn't be more excited for March 3rd."

Just before the weekend, the 'Shape of You' sensation held a Facebook Live Q&A and confessed that the album's accompanying tour will begin in the same month of its release.
