Ed Sheeran reveals a novel way he once passed time on a date

'Shape of You' sensation Ed Sheeran has revealed that he once built a Lego model on a date and once it was finished he just got up and left.

He told Graham Norton that it seemed like a good way to pass the time: "I once went on a date, brought a Lego set with me and while we were chatting I made the set and then left."

Continuing about his love of the building blocks, Sheeran added: "When my album went to number one, I bought the Death Star Lego kit - it was time. And when my goddaughter wanted a Ninja Turtle, I got her one and bought myself a Ninja Turtle truck."

His new album '÷' is due to be released on March 3 and he recently confirmed that the accompanying tour will kick off the same month: "March. Pretty soon after the album. I don’t know when we’re coming with dates but I know we’re coming with dates soon. I definitely know it's starting in March, yeah... but... I know we're starting in March in Europe, but I don't know the dates. I know March is Europe and everything else comes afterwards."
