British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, who just set a new record with the Official Top 40 after becoming the act to hold the Top 2 positions for the longest time, has opened up about how he wants to be remembered.

During a chat with GQ, he explained that while he wants to be known for his music he also wants to be known for his parenting skills and would love to start a family:

"As the brand guy, I am a musician. But it doesn't define me as a person. I want to be remembered for being a good dad and raising my children well."

The 'Shape of You' star recently told press in an interview that he feels ready to have babies with his girlfriend Cherry Seaborn: "Massively, yeah. I wanted to be a dad, like, last year. I'm ready, let's go - tour bus babies, little fat, chubby babies that just walk around."
