Ed Sheeran surprises 8-year-old fan on The Ellen Show

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran stopped by The Ellen Show this week for a performance of 'Shape of You' and while he was there, he surprised a young fan.

An 8-year-old kid named Kai Langer, who regularly appears on the programme, sang a rendition of Sheeran's 'Thinking Out Loud' for DeGeneres and while he was in the moment, Sheeran walked out and sat behind him on stage on the arm of a chair.

The superstar, meanwhile, will put on a one-off show at London's Royal Albert Hall on March 28 in support of The Teenage Cancer Trust organisation. Tickets for the event will go on sale this coming Friday, February 17, and he issued a statement on the news:

"It's an honour to be asked back by the Teenage Cancer Trust for their fundraising week of live gigs. It's such an important cause and one that I'm extremely proud to be a part of. See you on March 28 and let's raise loads of money for young people with cancer."
