Ed Sheeran parodies Adele's BRIT Awards gesture

Ed Sheeran has parodied Adele’s BRIT Awards gesture by sticking his finger up during a live BBC show.

The 21-year-old, who won Best British Male and Best British Breakthrough on Tuesday, was being introduced by presenter Alex Jones on Let’s Dance For Sport Relief, last night, when co-host Steve Jones mimicked James Corden's interruption:

"I can't believe I'm about to do this but I'm going to have to cut you off there.

"We have only got enough time for you to play so Alex if you can leave."

Sheeran then joined in with the fun by sticking his ring finger up, rather than the middle finger Adele gave to producers after her acceptance speech for Best British Album was controversially cut off.

Sheeran performed his current single, ‘Drunk,’ on the show, which saw Eddie The Eagle’s Austin Powers routine and comedian Miles Jupp’s Prodigy impression reach the final.
