Ed Sheeran has admitted that he isn't much of a hit with the ladies.

The singer-songwriter has enjoyed a successful rise to fame over the past couple of years but it seems he still hasn't cracked the art of speaking to women.

The Sun quotes the 'Lego House' man as saying that he is too awkward to speak to girls properly. He said:

"I am the worst with women, I'm just awkward – I can't start up conversations."

Sheeran added: "I should be rock and roll and should be doing everything that moves – but it's all good."

As previously reported, the 'A Team' star recently revealed that he has written two songs for One Direction's new album 'Take Me Home', which is due for release on November 12.

Both the tracks are set to include lyrics about Sheeran's ex-girlfriend.
