Ed Sheeran has revealed plans to temporarily move to America.

The Brit star is currently enjoying a rise of fame in the US and is due to perform at the coveted Grammys on February 10.

He also has a mammoth 58-date support tour with Taylor Swift lined up for later in the year - and it seems he is going to base himself out in Tennessee. He said:

"I'm moving to the States for a bit. I love New York but it's too similar to London. I still don't own a place in London, I own one in the country in England because I like having the escape."

The 'Lego House' man added: "I wouldn't want to be in the city. LA is cool but you find a lot of douche bags there. I'd rather be surrounded by people in cowboy hats that spit tobacco."
