Ed Sheeran hosts Twitter Q&A session: 'One of my EPs was recorded during a bad time'

British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran took to his official Twitter page earlier this evening (June 26) and answered a series of personal questions sent in by some of his 6.7 million followers.

The 'Lego House' superstar opened up about his favourite movies, earlier recordings and snack foods in the impromptu chat, and when asked by one fan about the story of his 2011 'Loose Change EP' he explained:

"It was written and recorded during a pretty bad time, but led to lots of good things."

Along with discussing his music, he teased that new songs are likely to be unveiled in "January" and that he is "definitely not" planning on remaining in the USA on a permanent basis. Speaking about his private life, Sheeran confessed that where sleep is concerned he gets on "average about 5 or 6 if it's a good day" and prefers "boxers all day" to briefs as he "needs space to breathe".
