Ed Sheeran confirms plans for the rest of 2013

Singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran has confessed that he will be holed up in the studio for the remainder of the year to finish his forthcoming new album.

The 'Lego House' superstar has been teasing little details here and there about what he's been working on, but took to his official Twitter page earlier today to tell his fans that he'll be laying low now until the new year as he has a lot of recording to get through:

"Back in the studio for the rest of the year to finish this album."

He recently performed two sold-out concerts at New York's famous Madison Square Garden venue and treated American followers to a special intimate Halloween concert at the Mercury Lounge, where he debuted a new song. The track, which he premiered at Madison Square Garden, was described as one of his "favourites from the new record"

He returned to the social networking site earlier this week and hinted that he has big things lined up for 2014, writing: "The real fun begins next year."
