Elbow want James Bond soundtrack: 'We've been hinting at it for years'

Rockers Elbow recently worked on an exclusive song for Simon Pegg's movie 'Man Up' and they enjoyed the project so much that they've now set their sights on the Bond soundtrack.

The band really want to record something for a James Bond film in the future and frontman Guy Garvey told Absolute Radio that doing music for movies is something they all found to be very interesting and fulfilling

"Simon's been a fan and a pal for a couple of years and they approached us to do the last song of the film. It took a couple of days but it was really interesting working over the film footage."

He added: "We've always said we'd love to do a full film, because we find it quite easy to work to that remit. The next James Bond, well that would be good. We've been hinting at that for years."
