Ella Henderson on new single 'Glow': 'It represents unity'

Ella Henderson has opened up on the meaning behind her new single.

The Brit is releasing the track 'Glow' on September 14 and it got its premiere today (August 12).

Speaking to Capital FM about the message behind the song, Henderson said:

"This song represents unity, it’s about bringing people together. When we shot the music video we wanted to keep it really free and there was no story to it, it was just kind of casting a load of young, fun, cool people through the night - a lot of field action!

"It was great fun and I just want to share a song with people where they feel like they can sing along to it."

The X Factor 2012 finalist's first single came in the shape of the chart-topping 'Ghost'.

Henderson will release her debut album 'Chapter One' on September 22.
