Ella Henderson believes the release of her debut album will be like having a baby.

The singer, who was a finalist on the 2012 series of the UK X Factor, is due to release 'Chapter One' on September 22.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the Brit said that she has been presiding over the record's music since she left the TV talent show.

Henderson said: "It feels like I’m going to give birth to my baby when the album comes out. I’ve taken two years to write the album.

“Seeing the positive reaction my music has got so far is incredible. I’ve put my all into it. It’s mental what’s happened in the last 10 weeks. I couldn’t be any happier."

The singer meanwhile is due to release her second single 'Glow' on September 14.
