Ellie Goulding has publicly confirmed her relationship with Dougie Poynter.

The celebrity duo have been regularly linked together over the last number of months and the McFly man recently admitted on an ITV2 McBusted documentary that the rumours were true.

'Burn' star Goulding has now also backed up the reveal, telling Alan Carr's Chatty Man TV show:

"Err, he's my man friend. Boyfriend traditionally.

"He's a very lovely human being. We were sort of friends for quite a long time."

Goulding will star on tonight's (May 23) episode of Channel 4' Chatty Man alongside John Cleese, Richard Ayoade and Mary Portas.
