Ellie Goulding wants David Attenborough on next album

Ellie Goulding has revealed her desire to have David Attenborough speak on her next record.

The singer's last album came in the shape of 2012's 'Halcyon' and it seems the Brit is ready to mix things up next time around.

Speaking to The Sun, Goulding said that she is thinking about theming the record around the universe, adding that she wants the dulcet tones of BBC's veteran nature man Attenborough on the album.

She said: "I've written a lot of songs about relationships and break-ups. I feel like my next album is going to be about the beginning of the universe and also watching documentaries and loving David Attenborough - his voice and his knowledge is amazing.

"If I could somehow utilise his voice in a recording with me, it would be awesome - a chance to make a point with my music and his authority."

In 2013, David Attenborough featured in a Channel 4 documentary alongside Bjork to look at the links between nature and music.
