Ellie Goulding wants more Calvin Harris collaborations

Ellie Goulding has spoken of her desire to have Calvin Harris on her next record.

The two stars previously teamed up for 'I Need Your Love', which was released on the Scottish DJ's 2012 album '18 Months'.

They have also joined forces for the track 'Outside' on Harris's new record 'Motion'.

Speaking to the Mirror, Goulding suggested that she would like to continue the collaboration theme on her own new album.

She said of Harris: "We've been friends for years. We like working together, we have a laugh. Sometimes you want to work with someone, but you don't necessarily have a connection."

Speaking more generally, the Brit added: "There's a couple of male singer-songwriters that I'm really excited about. We'll probably be old-school and do a male-female duet.

"I've done a few songs that I'm pretty happy with. I play the guitar, too - I'm really happy and excited by that."
