Ellie Goulding has teased fans with the prospect of "something special" next week.

The singer revealed the news on Twitter today (February 12) after celebrating the success of current single 'Love Me Like You Do'.

She wrote: "I'm still so incredibly happy to be number one in so many countries.

"I have something special to put out next week too. Love you guys x."

It was confirmed on Wednesday (February 11) that Goulding's single is No.1 on the UK midweek chart update.

The track features on the soundtrack to the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey movie, which will hit cinemas from Friday (February 13).
