Ellie Goulding secures a third week at No. 1 on UK singles chart

Ellie Goulding’s ‘Love Me Like You Do’ is enjoying its third consecutive week at the top of the UK chart.

After breaking Spotify’s record for the most streams in one week, ‘Love Me Like You Do’ has racked up a combined sales total of 118,000 over the past seven days.

The rest of this week’s Top Five is dominated by more non-movers; ‘Take Me To Church’ by Hozier is at No. 2, ‘Uptown Funk’ by Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars is at No. 3, The Weeknd’s ‘Earned It’ is up six to No. 4, and ‘FourFive Seconds’ by Rihanna featuring Kanye West and Paul McCartney is staying put at No. 5.

New entries to the Top 40 come from Luvbug with ‘Revive (Say Something)’ at No. 17, ‘Style’ by Taylor Swift has climbed 29 places to break into the chart at No. 36, and Florence + The Machine have returned with ‘What Kind Of Man’ entering at No. 37.

Following its appearance in a live episode of ‘Eastenders’ on Friday (February 20) ‘What I Did For Love’ by David Guetta and Emeli Sande has re-entered the chart at No. 20.
