Ellie Goulding inspired by Taylor Swift: 'I like the 'don't mess with me' vibe'

Songstress Ellie Goulding has revealed that starring in Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood' has inspired her to kick more ass in her own music videos.

During an interview with the Daily Mirror, the beauty explained that she had a lot of fun playing a darker character and is now tempted to bring that over into her own visual aesthetic:

"It was a fun video to film - that bazooka was pretty heavy. It's funny as well because I'm so not like that character. But watch this space, I might be a bit more kickass in my videos. It's given me a bit of inspiration. I like that whole 'Don't mess with me' vibe."

Goulding, meanwhile, recently admitted that she played matchmaker with Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift because she knew they would hit it off romantically: "I did play matchmaker, that's true. Calvin is a really great mate and he's so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love. I thought, 'They're both really awesome and both really tall, they'll be brilliant together'."
