Songstress Ellie Goulding has opened up about playing matchmaker for Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris, and joked that the music industry is so small that they would have met at some point without her help. 

Speaking to MTV News about how she helped the pair to meet and hit it off, the beauty explained that while she introduced them she believes they would have crossed paths on their own eventually:

"I’m not sure if they met beforehand, but certainly when we were at the Brits he came over and chatted to us... Because I was like ’come over.’"

“To be honest, I think they would have met anyway. It’s such a small world, you have no idea. We have so many mutual friends. It’s a very small world, so I think they would have met anyway. They are both really beautiful people, so I’m sure they would have met.”
