Ellie Goulding: 'Women are starting to speak out'

'Starry Eyed' hitmaker Ellie Goulding has revealed that she's glad to see things are changing where the treatment of women is concerned.

During a new interview with Cosmopolitan magazine, the beauty confessed that she was irritated by the male-heavy line-up at this year's Glastonbury, but it was redeemed by the fact that Florence + the Machine were then chosen to headline the festival:

"I get annoyed when men write degrading songs about women, but women are starting to speak out. And I got annoyed when Glastonbury had so many men on the line-up… but then Florence headlined. Things are changing, you know? And I love it."

Goulding, meanwhile, recently announced details of a full headlining tour that will kick off on March 8 at the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff. She will also visit Liverpool, London, Sheffield, and Nottingham on the jaunt, which will wrap on March 24 with a show at the O2 Arena.
