Ellie Goulding, Paloma Faith added to Isle of Wight Festival 2013 line-up

Ellie Goulding and Paloma Faith are among the acts added to the line-up of the 2013 Isle of Wight Festival.

The 'Anything Could Happen' singer and 'Never Tear Us Apart' songstress will join The Maccabees, The Script, Blondie and Bloc Party on the bill for the annual event, which takes place next year from June 13-16.

fun., Happy Mondays and Jake Bugg will also be featuring at the festival, with further acts to be announced in due course.

Festival organiser John Giddings said of the latest additions to the line-up: "We are proud to present some of the best new music around, together with artists who helped scope the face of modern music - it's a stunning combination so far."

Recently-reformed Mancunian indie stars The Stone Roses and US rockers Bon Jovi were announced to be headlining the festival last week.

Tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival 2013 are on sale now from the event's official website.

Ellie Goulding recently revealed that she never wants to play arena tours, adding: "I've played arenas supporting other artists but it's not really for me to be honest. They're just a bit boring and a bit rubbish. Sorry arena people."
