Goulding Debuts at Number One

British newcomer and Brits Critics' Choice award winner, Ellie Goulding, has shot to Number One in the UK albums chart this week with her debut album 'Lights'.

The 23-year-old female artist knocked pop sensation Lady GaGa's 'The Fame' off the top spot to gain the Number One position.

In the singles stakes, Tinie Tempah went straight in at Number One with his debut effort 'Pass Out'.

The top ten UK albums are:
