Ellie Goulding has admitted that performing on the X Factor was her most nerve-wrecking experience yet.

The British star has shot to mainstream glory this year with the No.1 single 'Burn' and she took to the UK X Factor on Sunday (October 13) to perform it live.

She told Capital FM that despite it being one of the most "scary" times of her life, it was all good fun by the end of it. Goulding said:

"I loved it. It was by far the most scariest thing I've done. About three seconds before I went to sing, everything sort of clicked and it was fine. When you're so nervous, you go into a strange world."

The singer meanwhile collected the Music prize at this year's Attitude Awards, which took place last night (October 15).

Other winners on the night included Cher and Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe.
