Ellie Goulding to duet on X Factor final

Ellie Goulding has been confirmed to sing a duet on this weekend's X Factor final.

This year's series is due to conclude over two nights at London's O2 Arena, with the victor announced on Sunday (December 15).

Goulding will sing a duet with finalist Luke Friend on the track 'Anything Can Happen'.

Judge Nicole Scherzinger meanwhile will run through 'And I Am Telling You' with Sam Bailey and Shane Filan will team up with Nicholas McDonald on the soaring 'Flying Without Wings'.

'Burn' star Goulding commented: "I'm really excited to perform with lovely Luke. He's a crazy talented singer and a good soul and to me that is the perfect combination. I love the tone of his voice and his stage presence. It's very, very cool to be a part of the live X Factor show."

Shane Filan meanwhile added: "Nicholas stood out from the beginning as he has such an incredible voice for someone so young. It's been exciting to watch him every weekend, and I hope that I can help him in the final to go all the way."

One Direction, Sir Elton John and Katy Perry meanwhile are among the acts also due to perform their own sets over the weekend.
