Emeli Sandé is planning to release her next album in early 2015.

The Scottish singer unleashed her debut record 'Our Version of Events' in 2012.

It became a huge hit and the musician told Capital FM this week that its follow-up should land early next year.

She said: "It's going really good, really, really good. It's feeling quite strong, so we're just getting it finished off right now and hopefully I'll be back in all of this pretty soon!"

Sandé meanwhile features on the new 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' Band Aid single.

It was confirmed on Wednesday (November 20) the the tune is No.1 in the UK and is the fastest selling single of the year so far.

The song has been released to raise funds for the battle against Ebola.
