Emeli Sandé: 'I feel good now, like I really know myself'

Songstress Emeli Sandé has revealed that the thought of turning 30 is exciting because she finally feels as though she knows herself inside and out.

The 29-year-old hitmaker will celebrate her birthday in March and told the Metro newspaper that the next decade is one she is looking forward to:

"It sounds a bit weird but I've always looked forward to being 30. That is your stable age and you've worked out a lot and hopefully you're on the right career path. I feel good now, I feel really like I know myself."

The star is set to tour the UK next month and her first date will take place at the Usher Hall in Edinburgh on March 16. From there she will perform at the Birmingham O2 Academy on March 19, London's O2 Academy in Brixton on March 21 and the O2 Academy in Leeds on March 22. Tickets are already on sale.
