Emeli Sandé's debut album remains at No.1

Emeli Sandé has maintained her reign over the UK albums chart with 'Our Version Of Events' as it was confirmed as the No.1 record in today's (February 22) midweek update.

The BRIT Awards have obviously had a significant impact on the positions as Adele's '21', for which she won Album of the Year last night, has moved up to No.2, Lana Del Rey's major label debut 'Born To Die' is now at 3 and Ed Sheeran's '+' has climbed to No.4.

Meanwhile, the Official Charts Company confirmed that Coldplay have a staggering "five albums in today’s Top 200".

Sandé was awarded the Critics' Choice prize at last night's BRITs and earlier today, February 22, she tweeted: "Flying to New York today, really have missed music making!"
