Emeli Sandé returns to No.1 with 'Our Version Of Events' album

Songstress Emeli Sandé has hit the top spot on the UK albums chart once again with her popular record, 'Our Version Of Events'.

The star was named No.1 during today's midweek update (January 9) and the album has now shifted over 1.4 million copies in the UK to date. Calvin Harris' '18 Months' has now moved down a place to sit at No.2.

Taylor Swift's 'Red' has climbed 7 places to No.9 following her widely reported supposed split from heartthrob Harry Styles, Frank Ocean's 'Channel Orange' has risen 13 positions to No.22, and Lana Del Rey's 'Born To Die' has dropped to 26.

Elsewhere in the albums chart Top 40, Coldplay's 'Mylo Xyloto' has fallen 18 spots to No.39, 'Nothing But The Beat' by David Guetta is up to No.27, and One Direction's latest offering, 'Take Me Home', has dropped to No.10.

The final positions will be confirmed this coming Sunday on January 13.
