Beyond Recall partner with Ditch the Label for Promo Tour

A Bristol based rock band will be crossing the Severn bridge next week to embark on a schools tour of South Wales highlighting the issue of online safety.

Having struck a chord with fans across the UK with their blend of alternative rock, the trio of Bristol based rockers known as Beyond Recall are taking to the road to share their own experiences of cyberbullying and discrimination.

During their visits to 10 schools across South Wales the band will introduce students to Ditch the Label – one of the world’s largest pro-equality and anti-bullying charities. Speaking about their own personal experiences with bullying, frontman Zaid said, “As a band, we often encounter a lot of abuse, especially online. We’ve learned to ignore it and look where it’s gotten us. I can’t express enough how important it is for these pupils to know how to deal with discrimination”.

Beyond Recall first struck a chord with fans through their fusion of Don Bronco and Panic! At The Disco inspired rock. The band now boast supporters across the UK after their debut single “Up Up!” went to number 1 on Scuzz TV’s Most Wanted Rock Chart. The band are regularly playlisted on Kerrang and Scuzz, and recently made it to the final of Virgin Radio’s FreshFest competition.

Sue Jones from Ditch the Label said, “Ditch the Label are really pleased to be teaming up with Beyond Recall on their school’s tour. We are one of the largest anti-bullying charities in the world; defiant, innovative and proud to be different. We believe in a world that is fair, equal and free from all types of bullying. Beyond Recall are with us – are you?”
