Indie Grooves and Glimmering Vocals- New Music Video from Nakamarra
After the recent release of their new single, Nakamarra’s latest music video for ‘Hide’ is now available on all major networks. As the perfect accompaniment to the much loved new single from the indie-rock collective, Hide’s music video pushes the boundary of contemporary rock culture, piecing together a well-bounded live-action film clip that’s alignment with the track makes for an easy listening, easy viewing manner.
A sonic sound of harmonious indie grooves and glimmering vocals- think; Wolf Alice/Foals meets a young Adele. Nakamarra’s ambient vibes and infectious style shoot them into an indie-rock/pop masterpiece plummeting onto the scene for 2018.
After having a big year in 2017 the group is set on a mission to fall head-first into our festival line-ups. After performing on their home turf on the main stage of Isle of White Festival, supporting the likes of ‘The Kooks’, ‘Catfish and The Bottlemen’ and ‘Arcade Fire’, Nakamarra continues to run the stage at a number of mainstream festivals across the country. The band was the Closing act at Bestival 2017 on their Invaders of the Future Stage - Hand-picked by Bestival Curator Rob Da Bank, championing their ‘Soul, Power and Instrumental Dexterity’.
The dim and dusky ambience of the video puts us in the location of a live music gig, intersected with an otherworldly character of pleasant obscurity. The twilit themed video works flawlessly with the song, offering a clean, rock ‘n’ roll persona that symbols the beautiful tonality of ‘Hide’, at the same time as representing the alternative independent personality of Nakamarra as a band.
From start to finish, Hide’s music video pictures an array of shadowy, radiant colours. The video is inclusive and pleasurable, launching us into the scene of smooth guitar riffs, electronic undertones, and a solid indie-rock jam.
