Fergie's husband Josh Duhamel says he "can't be anywhere below" the star's face when she's giving birth.

The Hollywood actor and the Black Eyed Peas star - who tied the knot in January 2009 - are currently expecting their first child together.

Duhamel insists there will be some rules in the delivery room.

Speaking on Chelsea Lately, the actor explained: "I will be there. She says that I can't be anywhere below [her face]. Because, you know, some women get nervous about that.

He added about watching his wife giving birth: " "For me I think it's a beautiful thing. Why not?"

Duhamel also revealed how he is preparing for impending fatherhood.

He said: "[You don't know] until you actually go through it yourself, because, you know, all my friends have told me about it. They've said, 'You know, it's the most amazing thing you've ever been through; wait until you hold the baby for the first time'.

He gushed: "And then you actually look at [Fergie] and you see that there's an actual baby inside of there. It's unbelievable."
