Black Eyed Peas and solo star Fergie has made her famous moniker official.

The ‘Fergalicious’ singer, who married actor Josh Duhamel in 2009, was born Stacy Ann Ferguson but is known as Fergie in her professional career. She is now Fergie Duhamel on paper.

The request was made by the singer to "conform to the first name which she is commonly and professionally known as, and has been for many years".

Despite being heavily pregnant with her and Duhamel’s first child – a boy due in September – the singer has been keeping busy with a new 'Great Gatsby'-themed video and throwing a star-studded baby shower featuring Adam Lambert, Kelly Osbourne, Lance Bass and many others in attendance.
